Hello everyone! My name is Ice and I am a vicious 2 year old lion cat! Just kidding, but my hair cut does make me look fierce. I was found as a stray with a wound on my head. The person who found me called the Pet Pantry, who then took me in. I was immediately seen by a veterinarian and treated for my wound.
Upon my intake I also tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus, or FIV. Basically, it is a virus that weakens my immune system, making me more susceptible to other infections. It's really nothing to be scared of though. FIV positive cats can live long and healthy lives just the same as cats without the virus. I do not require any special medication, but routine vet visits are a must to ensure that I stay healthy.
Don't let the lion cut fool you, I am actually very sweet. I had some matting when I was found from wandering outside with no help in the grooming department. Unfortunately, that landed me with this goofy haircut; but hey, if anyone can pull it off, it's me right?
I enjoy being petted. I would happily spend my time by your side while you scratch under my chin and stroke by back. I am a bit curious too and like to explore my new surroundings. I can be a bit timid at first, but given a day to settle in I am ready to check everything out.
I am neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all my vaccines. I on my way to full recovery from my wound and with a snazzy new haircut I am ready to find my forever home! Maybe that could be with you?
